Jeanne Connors,
President & CEO, & the late owner Guy Greco Sr. pose with the 2009 race shirt When Glenn Gaetano, Tom Wilson and Jack Walsh first started dreaming about the possibility of starting the Commodore Hull Thanksgiving Day 5K Road Race, they knew that the first order of business would be to find the marquee sponsor who would handle the race's signature, high quality race shirts. Glenn thought that he knew the ideal choice, Greco & Haines, a quality Valley business for over four decades. When he approached Jeannne Connors at Greco & Haines she agreed readily with the condition that the t-shirts had to be a high quality item! Well, it's eight years and
over five thousands of t-shirts later, and we see many runners still wearing the race shirt from the very first year, as well as every year since. They have also provided a number of other items down through the years including water bottles and last year's official Commodore Hull bags from the U.S.S. Constitution store in Boston. We want to thank Jeanne and Guy and everyone else at Greco & Haines for not only making this race possible with their early support, but also for helping to grow it into the great community event that it has become.
